The Veteran Health Administration partners with Uber Health to provide transit to veterans

To help improve reliable transportation access to healthcare, the VHA Innovation Ecosystem (VHA IE), Veteran Transportation Program (VTP), and Uber Health launched the VHA-Uber Health Connect (VUHC) Initiative, a program that provides an additional transportation option for eligible Veterans traveling to and from medical appointments. So far, the program has resulted in $196.7M in cost savings for the VA and 83% of surveyed veterans (2,300) said they would not have been able to access medical care without the program.

Uber Health helps reduce health disparities across Detroit with Rides to Care Program

The Detroit Health Department partnered with Uber Health to launch Rides to Care, providing free transportation for pregnant women and caregivers of infants under one year old to non-emergency medical appointments. The program helps improve maternal and infant health by ensuring reliable access to prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric care.

Free Uber rides are helping Hartford residents get to lifesaving medical care

Through its partnership with Hartford Public Library's Health on the Go program, Uber Health provides free rides to help Hartford residents get to medical appointments and other health services. By reducing transportation barriers, the program is expanding access to care and helping underserved communities receive the healthcare they need.

RWJBarnabas Health partnered with Uber Health to help patients overcome transportation barriers that can make it difficult to access healthcare. By providing non-emergency medical transportation, the program helps connect thousands of patients across New Jersey with the care they need, while supporting broader efforts to improve health outcomes and address social drivers of health.
