Frequently asked questions
The link in the text I received doesn’t work
Go to your phone App Store to check if your Uber App needs to be updated.
I have downloaded the Uber App and created an account, now what?
Return to the invite text message and click on the second link. This will initiate the verification process. You will be asked to input your date of birth. Once confirmed, the benefit will be added to your Uber Wallet and function as a payment method.
How do I request rides with my benefit?
First, make sure you’ve completed the verification process by following the links sent by Uber. Then open the Uber app and request a ride from the home page. Once you’ve entered your pickup and dropoff locations and selected an eligible ride type, make sure that your benefit is selected as the payment type before confirming your ride.
Will I be charged for rides requested in the Uber app?
Rides that are eligible under your policy will be charged to your participating health organization as long as there are funds remaining. If the ride is not eligible or you no longer have funds remaining, Uber will ask you to switch payment methods or cancel the trip request.

You can check your balance and eligibility by opening the Uber app, going to Account, and selecting Wallet. Then scroll to your healthcare benefits and tap into your benefit to see your policy details.
